Our 1:1 Program is currently in grades 4th - 12th. Every student in grades 4-6 has received an iPad that is used on a daily basis for assignments, reading digital novels , watching video lessons, enrichment, participating in online discussion boards, and much much more. Every student in grades 7-12 has recieved a Chromebook that is used daily for online assignments, note taking, collaboration, enrichment and participating in class. LCS has adopted the learning management system "Schoology" and Google Classroom, which is the digital delivery vehicle for assignment submission, curriculum content, group work, online discussion boards, and more. Some key apps to success in the first three years of the program has been: Schoology , Notability, Explain Everything, Google Docs , Google Slides, GoogleSheets, Castle Learning and electronic text books. The 1:1 Programs ultimate goal is to one day have 1 devices in every students hands from Prek-12th grades.
