Net Price Calculators

In accordance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA), by October 29, 2011, each postsecondary institution that participates in Title IV federal student aid programs must post a net price calculator on its website that uses institutional data to provide estimated net price information to current and prospective students and their families based on a student’s individual circumstances.  In most cases, this calculator will be located on the college's financial aid page so check there first.   If your college does not have one set up yet, you may get an estimate using the generic calculator link (College Navigator) at the bottom of the list.

Loan CalculatorsThis loan calculator from FinAid allows you to put in your total student loan debt to receive an estimate of what your monthly repayment schedule will be and the calcultor tells you what monthly gross income you will need to have to afford this loan.   This estimate assumes that 10% of your gross monthly income will be devoted to repaying your student loans. This corresponds to a debt-to-income ratio of 0.7.     Click here:  Loan Amortization
