ANNOUNCEMENTS:

June 2015 Regents Examination Schedule.  

Please note that at LCS all am exams begin at 8:20 am and all pm exams begin at 12:00 noon

August 2015 Regents Examination Schedule

~ Please note:  LCS does not offer these exams, you must register to take them from WHS, IR or Carthage for a fee.  All registrations must be submitted via home school counselor, you cannot register to take a Regents examination at another school by contacting that school.  Applications and additional information are now  available 



Attention all Grade 7-12 Students and Parents:  The student and parent portal of Schooltool is open.  This means that all 4th quarter averages, final exams, Regents exams and final averages are available to be viewed as soon as they are input.  Beginning on 6/22, Mrs. Sara Henry will call the parents of all students who have failed a 9-12 course so plans can be made to register for a summer school course if that is an option and discuss all available options for making the coursework up.  The parents of all  7th or 8th grade students who fail the grade will also be called, although there are no options for making up this coursework in summer school in our area. 

All elementary report cards will be sent home with students on 6/24.

All 7-12 report cards will be mailed home on 7/2, although those with parent portal access can print report cards directly from the portal.

Senior final transcripts will be mailed / uploaded to colleges on  7/3. 


Parent Portal and Student Portal Users:

~Access to the system will be available only through midnight on 6/30/2015 ~

After this date, the system will be unavailable to all users (teachers, staff, parents and students) until 9/3/2015.  If you do not have a portal account, you may still request access by completing the online form available from the PARENTS tab of the LCS home page.  Student may access their portal account using their entire first and last name (no space) as user name and their 3 digit lunch code as their password.




Summer School
LCS will not offer summer school this year
The only options for taking advance or repeat courses will be at the following area high schools.  Students must pay tuition and provide their own transportation
REGISTRATIONS FOR ALL COURSES AND EXAMS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO WHS, Carthage High School, Indian River High School and TI High School VIA THE LCS SCHOOL COUNSELING OFFICE.  PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE HOST SCHOOLS. 
 
~Watertown High School:  Grades 9-12 summer school registration information, course schedules and offerings are now available in the School Counseling Office.
*The cost for an advance (never taken) course is $450.......*The cost for a repeat course is $300.  Deadline to register for a course is 6/26/2015
*The cost for retaking a Regents exam is $50
Deadline to register for an exam is 7/3/2015

SUMMER STEM CAMP at LCS 

for Students Currently in Grades 6-8

Runs 7/28 - 7/30 (full day).

Students from Alexandria Central will join us.

Explore a variety of STEM topics and careers through hands-on activities conducted by Clarkson University students as part of the RISE grant.

Learn about the graduation requirements in effect for the class of 2019, the new academic programs and courses available in 2015-2016, map out a 4-year plan for your child, help your child choose his/her courses for next year and learn about career planning resources to assist your child in determining their path after graduation
