Mental Health Resources:

Sometimes students and families need extra support outside of school for a variety of issues/concerns. Below is a list of some agencies who can help with a wide variety of issues/concerns (such as grief/loss, behavioral concerns, anger, fighting, divorce, etc).

Mobile Crisis Team of Jefferson County - 782-2327
    Provide instant phone support and referrals for crisis situations. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Victims Assistance Center - 782-1855
    Provide advocacy and counseling support to individuals and families who have been the victim of a crime.

Samaritan Mental Health Services - 785-4516 for Emergencies and 785-5060 for Other Calls.
    Provide mental health services and referrals for both emergency mental health needs and non-emergency mental health needs. They are located in Samaratain Hospital.
