Welcome to my school website.

This is my second year with LaFargeville CSD and I am excited to be back here! My time will be shared between this school and schools at Indian River CSD and Watertown CSD. At this time I am at LaFargeville on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the school year. My main focus is to work with the students who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) but I will do my best to make myself available and open to all students and their families as well.

A Little About Me:

I received my Bachelors in Sociology with Honors at SUNY Albany. I have a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Syracuse University and hold a NYS Licensure for Social Work (LMSW). I am also certified by the NYS Education Department as a Certified School Social Worker. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the New York State School Social Workers Association (NYSSSWA). I am currently a certified Advanced Trainer of the Nurtured Heart Approach as well.

Social Skills Groups!
If your student is in one of my counseling groups and is working on social skills (you should be getting a letter soon regarding this!) I will be assigning them a group number and you will be able to check back here to see which skills they are working on so you can help them practice them at home!
