Mrs. Miller- School Psychologist Mrs. Miller- School Psychologist & Special Education Teacher
CPSE Chairperson

2nd quarter progress notes have been mailed home. Please contact me with any questions.

This is my fifth year at LaFargeville as their school psychologist and special education teacher. I am also certified as a reading teacher. This year I am teaching special education students in Kindergarten through Second Grade!

I am able to work with all students in Pre-K through 12th grade! My goal is to work with students, staff and parents so that each student is successful using their individual strengths.

Some of my roles at LCS-

Assess/test students to find out their strengths and weaknesses. Explain these test results at Committee on Special Education meetings to help determine if a student qualifies for special education services.

Observe students and consult with teachers about strategies to use in the classroom.

Counsel students individually and in small group settings- Banana Splits in grades 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6, Drumming Together- a military support group and a Friendship group for primary age students. I would like to add more this year.

Drumming Together and Banana Splits

The groups will be running the entire year!!

(With edible banana splits in June!)

Chairperson for the Committee on Preschool Special Education.  I Sit on CSE/CPSE committees. I attend county-wide Committee on Special Education chairperson's meetings once a month.

If you have a child that is 3-5 years old who is experiencing any problems with academic, social, language or motor skills, you can refer them to the Committee on Preschool Special Education and see if they qualify for services.

* Call the elementary office to make a referral.

Please email me or call with any questions or ideas.
