The next Aspire Club meeting is on Thursday, October 8th after school. Bring clothes you can paint in. Stop by Mrs. DeMarse’s room before going outside.
Attention Faculty and Staff: Monday, October 5th from 5-7pm, over 80 different colleges as well as 4 branches of the armed services will have representatives available to meet with students and their parents at Higher Education Night. Mrs. Henry will be available in the lobby during periods 4-6 to help students with college searches to prepare for the event. Staff: Please remember to help us promote this event by wearing college logo attire on Monday.
The Thousand Islands Art Center, Home of the Handweaving Museum in Clayton, is offering after school art opportunities this fall from October to December. You can sign up for one class or all classes. Scholarships are also offered to help with the cost. Information and registration forms are outside Mrs. Martin’s art room (119). Sign up to create some awesome seasonal art projects.
Today is Mrs. Demer’s (also known as Ms. Singer) last day at LCS. If you see her today, make sure to say good-bye and wish her well on her next journey.

Attention students in grades 9 – 12: The LCS Buddy Mentor Program is looking for students who have free time in their schedules who want to serve as a mentor to an elementary student. Please email or see Mrs. Henry if you are interested.

LaFargeville is teaming up with South Jeff again this year to raise money for breast cancer in a 5K fun run/walk, and this year we’re adding color! Pre-registration forms are due back to Ms. Denny by Oct. 5th, which is Monday!! If you have any questions or need a form stop in and see Ms. Denny.
